Insert the tap through the hole from the outside of the purifier, making sure the stainless-steel disc and one white washer are in place.

From the inside, slide on the second white washer, the second stainless-steel disc, and the nut.

Screw the back nut on and use your shifter or ratchet to tighten it securely.

Check that the tap is straight and sits neatly in place.
Pro tip: Holding the nut in place while twisting the front of the tap first, then tightening with the shifter, can make the process much easier and results in a cleaner, firmer fit.
